What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Toddler/Preschool Programs
At Wilmington Montessori School, children learn in mixed age groups (ages 12 months to 3 years in the Pre-Primary (Toddler) Program and ages 3 to 6 in the Primary Program). This empowers the older children to become role models for the younger ones and creates a feeling of community as younger children are aided by older ones who develop patience and leadership skills.

Elementary Program
Wilmington Montessori School's Elementary Program consists of classes separated into two levels: ages 6-9 (first through third grade) and 9-12 (fourth through sixth grade). Our curriculum supports all children, nurturing their gifts and supporting their challenges, and builds upon a child's early childhood experience as the basis for academic learning.
Middle School
Beginning in September 2018, Wilmington Montessori School will offer a middle school program serving grades 7 & 8.
