Utah Symphony & Utah Opera provide extensive education programs that serve all Utah public and charter school students and teachers with events and activities designed in accordance with the state's curriculum standards in music and theatre. We reach all school districts along the Wasatch Front from Provo to Ogden (including all of Salt Lake County) annually, and districts in other areas of the state at least once every three to five years. Activities include orchestral concerts and opera presentations in the schools, coaching of young musicians by our artists, the 5th-Grade Concert Series at Maurice Abravanel Hall, original opera composition projects, opportunities to attend symphony and opera rehearsals, and more.
