Peer-to-Peer Recovery Education Classes
8-week recovery education and support class led by two NAMI-trained individuals who are living well with a mental health condition.
NAMI Northern Virginia Annual Walk
NAMI Northern Virginia's largest annual awareness and fundraising event, open to the community.
Family-to-Family Education Classes
A 12-week class for family members, partners and friends of individuals living with a mental health condition.
Monthly Meetings (speakers, workshops, and other)
Each month we meet for a workshop, guest speaker, open house, or other activity related to mental health. The Monthly Meeting is open to the public and is a great way to meet others who share similar experiences.
In Our Own Voice Presentations
Educational presentation featuring two NAMI-trained presenters who speak about their personal experience living with a mental health condition and working towards wellness.
Family Support Groups
Year-round support group meetings for family members of individuals living with a mental health condition, led by NAMI-trained family member volunteers.
Connection Recovery Support Groups
Year-round support group meetings for adults living with a mental health condition, facilitated by NAMI-trained peer volunteers.
Ending The Silence Presentations
Educational presentation about the signs and symptoms of mental health conditions and how to help yourself or a loved one who may need support. This presentation was designed for teens and is now available for various audiences: ETS for Students, ETS for School Staff, and ETS for families.
YouthFest for Young Adults, Teens & Families
Social events to meet other teens, young adults and family members--have fun and raise awareness!
