FSBT is committed to maintaining our unique combination of extraordinary production values and family friendly ticket prices for future generation of Delawareans. We also hope to maintain the increased growth of our school, audience and donors. Lastly we would like to maintain and grow our outreach program Danceworks! which provides free ballet instruction to 200 local school children each school year.

The Board of Directors has increased fundraising efforts in order to maintain our professional ballet company, school and out reach program. FSBT is committed to act responsibly and we are revising business protocols and systems to better effectively and efficiently serve our community and supporters.

Since the new administrative team began working together in early 2016, school attendance has grown, the outreach program has continued even with limited grant support and the professional ballet company continues to bring high quality ballet performances to the community.

Internal accounting controls are being updated to track programs and campaigns in more detail. Book keeping protocol has been changed to include functional expense tracking to further help track progress of our various efforts.

The School of Ballet Theatre's attendance has increased, the professional ballet company continues with it's many professional performance and outreach visits and lectures in the community. The Danceworks! program continues to serve the local under served schools with free ballet instruction through the school year.

Organizational Demographics

In order to support nonprofits and gain valuable insight for the sector, GuideStar worked with D5—a five-year initiative to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in philanthropy—in creating a questionnaire. This section is a voluntary questionnaire that empowers organizations to share information on the demographics of who works in and leads organizations. To protect the identity of individuals, we do not display sexual orientation or disability information for organizations with fewer than 15 staff. Any values displayed in this section are percentages of the total number of individuals in each category (e.g. 20% of all Board members for X organization are female).
