Nueva Vida Program

Nueva Vida is a culturally-specific program that helps to meet the needs of the growing number of Hispanic-Latino immigrant women in our community who are either victims of crimes (e.g., domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking), unemployed or underemployed. Nueva Vida provides employment counseling, job placement support and life skills workshops to its program participants. All workshops are conducted in Spanish.

New Choices is an economic empowerment program for women who have major individual and economic challenges to self-sufficiency. Our current program clients include women who are victims of crimes (e.g., domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking); women who have recently transitioned from prison or jail; and women who are displaced due to divorce, separation, or death of their significant other. The goal of this program is to empower these women with the skills and confidence to achieve the difficult transition to economic self-sufficiency through employability skills training, financial literacy training, employment counseling, job placement assistance and expanded access to supportive services.

Immigration Legal Services provides quality, affordable immigration legal assistance to immigrants. As a Department of Justice authorized provider of Immigration Legal Services, InStepp Inc. offers low-cost and affordable immigration legal services to help with a variety of immigration matters. Our services include but are not limited to assistance with family petitions, citizenship and permanent residence applications, VAWA and U Visa self-petitions, FOIA requests and FBI background checks.
