What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Partnership for a More Perfect Union
The Internet spawned an explosion of electronic messages and forever changed how citizens and Members of Congress interact. The goal of this project is to reduce the challenges and frustration felt by both sides, facilitate increased citizen participation in the public policy process, and promote a meaningful democratic dialogue that benefits our country.
Congressional Staff Training and Professional Development
CMF offers several professional development opportunities for House and Senate staff. The purpose of these programs is to enable staff to do their jobs more effectively and thus serve their district/state and constituents more effectively.
Management Books and Guidance
CMF publishes a series of management guidebooks for Hill staff, including our signature publication, Setting Course (http://www.congressfoundation.org/publications/setting-course) . To produce these books, CMF studies the best practices of congressional offices, and applies top private-sector management ideas to Congress.
