Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Peace Education
Developing leadership for peace in each generation Youth training programs in 7 states empower at-risk youth with new understandings and skills to deal effectively and positively with conflict and violence in their lives.
Creative programs for younger children teach peacemaking and give the children a way to express their own hopes for peace on large murals which are displayed in the community.
Ministry of Reconciliation
Teaching and leading healthy, faithful responses to conflict, and effective decision-making
Conflict transformation training for campers and camp staff
Leadership-in-conflict skills for pastors and other church leaders
Mediation and facilitation services for churches, families and community groups
Peace Witness
Nurturing Spirit-filled discipleship and active response to violence. Over 200 churches in the US and other countries have participated in International Day of Prayer for Peace, with the help of On Earth Peace, and many of them have built new partnerships and violence reduction ministries in their communities. Nonviolence organizing. Congregational and community leaders from across the US, as well as from Africa and Asia, have gained new skills and approaches to spiritually-grounded community nonviolence organizing through their participation with On Earth Peace.
Song and Story Fest
Annual inter-generational music and story-telling camp: "Song and Story Fest"
Programs on reconciliation, peace-building, and violence reduction for all ages, at conferences and other events.
Printed materials and other resources for all who seek to build a more just and peaceful world.

We have brought a historically majority-white organization and community into deeper and broader engagement with racial justice and other liberation movements. We have renewed the anti-war commitment of our community. We have deeply and widely instilled healthy conflict transformation skills.
