Five powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?

InsideNGO's Mission is to strengthen the operational and management capacity of organizations in the international development and relief community.

We strengthen the operational and management capacity of organizations through four primary areas: Capacity building, Collaboration, Advocacy, and Standards setting for the sector.

Since 1977, we have developed internal capabilities and developed strategic partnerships to carry out our work. More to the point, InsideNGO's capabilities come from internal resources (i.e., staff member's time and talent), members (i.e., contributions by members, including resources shared and time volunteered), external consultants, and our industry partners.

InsideNGO has metrics and targets for our four primary areas of work that gauge not only outputs (e.g., number of workshop participants) but also outcomes (e.g., evidence of performance improvements resulting from workshop participation). We are building systems to track progress in order to understand where we are successful and where we can improve and also to share our story.

Over nearly 40 years, InsideNGO has helped countless individuals and organizations do their work better and has impacted the sector as a thought leader and advocate for the community. The international development and relief sector is complex and ever changing so there will always be new challenges to embrace.
