Founded in 1985, CFACT’s mission is to promote ideas, activities and policies that best foster human progress and provide care for the natural world. CFACT accomplishes its objectives by pursuing four main strategies: • Prospering Lives. CFACT works to help policymakers find the best ways to provide for, and safeguard, the public’s food, water, energy and other essential human services. • Promoting Progress. CFACT advocates for the use of safe, affordable technologies and the pursuit of economic policies that reduce pollution and maximize the efficient use of resources. • Protecting the Earth.
