What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Leadership Premier

LHC's signature, ten-month program for senior-level and community leaders to learn about the many issues impacting Howard County and how they can make a difference. Participants are immersed in experiences addressing specific aspects of our community through session days that provide a hands-on look at what's happening in that field; the opportunity to hear from leaders of organizations and the key issues they are addressing, and often, take part in site visits and hear first-hand accounts of those who deliver services to the community. In addition to session days, participants work on various small team, community impact projects, as well as take part in learning opportunities which are experiential, behind-the-scenes visits that provide a deeper understanding of issues, attractions, and community topics.

Run in collaboration with Loyola University MD, this 6-month program allows emerging leaders to further develop their leadership skills through monthly workshops, individual coaching, and participation on a team-based project to address the needs of local non-profit organizations.
