Just Governance (Against Land Grabbing)

Much of the land on the content of Africa is being contracted out to multinational corporations or foreign entities, leaving many Africans with little resources and food insecurity. These foreign entities promise societal improvements that they don't deliver leaving many Africans with little livelihoods and little benefits from the contracts. Other times these agreements are among corrupt officials and the monies never reach the local people whom they should be benefiting. The Africa Faith and Justice Network works on researching the extent of the land grabbing in a particular area and then holds educational and advocacy workshops about the ills of land grabbing. In the workshops we empower local populations and leaders to stand up for their rights and reclaim their lands or hold corporations accountable to their agreements.
