Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
The Institute trains physicians, nurses, geriatric aides and home caregivers in the Copper Ridge Model Of Care© through on-campus and offsite seminars and customized dementia training. The Institute's CD-ROM training module extends our reach across the nation and world. In a new initiative funded by the Proxmire research fund, the Proxmire Research Scientist is overseeing projects and developing new research grant opportunities. Our Community Nurse Educator, has introduced the Copper Ridge Model of Care© to the Eastern Shore and teaches best practices dementia care in the community. The Millicent Radlick Nurse Scholar Fund is funding a doctoral level nurse who will translate care needs into research proven best care practices.
