Mission

In a world of colliding economic, political, technological and nature-led forces, Ukraine in its current shape and form is not a sustainable player. For the country to survive and thrive, to be a value for the world and to itself in tackling some of the most serious challenges ever faced by humankind, Ukraine must nurture a very strong intellectual capacity. We exist to build the intellectual foundation for a strong and innovative economy of Ukraine as well as develop other spheres.

Kyiv School of Economics (KSE)

The Kyiv School of Economics (KSE), founded by the Economics Education and Research Consortium (EERC) and the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, is a world-class educational institution with focus on modern economics education and research.
KSE offers internationally recognized two-year, full-time English-language Master’s Programs: an M.A. in Economic Analysis and an M.A. in Financial Economics. The programs are taught by well-known international and Western-trained Ukrainian faculty who have strong backgrounds in teaching and research. During the last five years, the KSE faculty published over forty articles in top international peer-reviewed journals. KSE’s academic quality is ensured by its International Advisory Board of prominent Western economists.
KSE is a project funded by both public and private sources. Among its main contributors are the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA), the Open Society Institute, Eurasia Foundation, and the Governments of Norway and Finland. KSE is also supported by donations from private companies in Ukraine which provide scholarships and professorships, and by individual contributors from Ukraine and abroad.
