What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

The Freedom to Marry for All is a primary focus of UUSJ as well as the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA). In 1996 the General Assembly of the UUA called for the legalization of same-sex marriages and has, since 1970, advocated full equality for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people. UUSJ organizes Baltimore/Washington area UU congregations and individuals to be involved in this work.

Social Justice leader support: An ongoing initiative to strengthen connections between leaders of UU social justice activites and to encourage collaboration on projects. Activities include regional meetings, web-based communications, and technical support.
