What we aim to solve
Most groups address the issue of bullying and isolation by awareness measures – which is most certainly needed. However the bully AND victim are both aware of this reality. There are bully awareness organizations to advocate the BYSTANDER to help. However little if anything exist for those solitary, isolated, loners out there on their own. If the victim wasn't alone, the bully would need to contend with all of their friends. The victim however is usually isolated on their own. Our goal is to foster a belonging aspect by offering welcoming social activities to such individuals. Offering educational art programs and social activities with no niche attached.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Monthly Meet Up
We are currently offering FREE interactive, educational, and fun local seminars and cultural dialogues in the Washington, DC/Baltimore area about understanding and social acceptance through dispelling myths and stereotypes about cultures and abilities. Our seminars range from 30 minutes very condensed to 2+ hours. Our seminars can be one exciting, knowledgeable, fun filled speaker, or a group of people. We can cater our seminars from a 9th grade social studies class to a corporate business seminar/meeting. We can incorporate music, art, dance, and audience participation from solely a question and answer session to interactive movement. We would love to do a FREE seminar with your group no matter how small or big it is. Being that we are start-up new organization with very little money, resources, and volunteer help, we only ask to have transportation costs covered and a meal if we will be there for the day.

Working with the local Aspergers Support group we have developed a core of individuals who can act as spokes persons or presenters to spread the word. Additionally, collaboratively they arrange for meet ups and plan for future events.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
The Circle’s Edge, inc has a weekly support group for those bully victims and isolated, lonely people in the upstate NY region.
We also have many activities and events for people in the area and virtually to participate in. Lastly, we are in the working stages of an interactive awareness art project called 'Different Perspective' where people locally, and from afar virtually, can participate and be made aware of the importance of acceptance and the problems of human isolation within society.
