Day Support Services

Eggleston Services helps individuals with disabilities gain independence, confidence and increased feeling of self-worth through exposure to new life experiences while meeting their individual support needs, interests, and desires. A variety of Day Support programs are available through Hampton Roads, from going to a restaurant, attending ball games, shopping, relaxing in a sensory room, learning new skills, working out in a fitness center, you name it , we have it.

When you entrust your job to Eggleston, you'll receive quality work, done on schedule, at competitive prices, while giving meaningful work to individuals with disabilities. Business we offer: Automotive Center, Garden Center and Residential Landscaping Projects, Commercial Landscaping, Business Fulfillment & Custom Assembly, and Document Shredding & Conversion.

Beacon House serves as a Clubhouse model for members with an acquired brain injury (ABI). A clubhouse isa community center with a work ordered day structure for people living with the effects of an ABI. It offers members a safe environment where they can be treated with dignity and respect.

Eggleston provides residential community-based living options for individuals who have a primary diagnosis of intellectual disabilities. Our focus is to develop outcome areas consistent with growth empowerment, achievement, and personal freedom! The advantage of selecting living options through Eggleston is that services are person-centered, incorporating the individuals’ dreams, wishes, and talents. The individuals supported have many opportunities to be active members of the community, creating more natural supports and lasting friendships.

Eggleston’s staff of experienced Employment Specialists provide one -on -one job coaching services to help each individual reach their goal of obtaining employment in the community. These are primary services we offer: Situational Assessment, Job Development, Job Coaching, and Follow-Along Support.

The Hampton Roads community has one of the largest populations of military personnel in the country. Each month hundreds of servicemen and women transition from the military. Eggelston’s Warrior Bridge assists veterans with disabilities by connecting them to vital resources, services and employment. The Warrior Bridge program uses a person-centered approach to promote self sufficiency through satisfying employment. Eggleston is dedicated to bridging the gap between resources, support and sustained employment for veterans with disabilities.

Goal 1:
Secure human and financial resources necessary to fulfill the mission and be the service provider and employer of choice. Ensure high quality facilities, technology, and other infrastructure support that provide a quality work environment and help achieve the mission. Implement staff development and succession planning efforts that enable long term sustainability. Operate with integrity, hold ourselves accountable, and strive to exceed customer, stakeholder and funder expectations.
Goal 2:
Continue to leverage and increase brand recognition of Eggleston’s services and businesses. Implement a comprehensive development program. Increase advocacy efforts aimed at positively impacting the lives of people with disabilities. Implement Marketing and Public Relations efforts to increase the community’s awareness n support of Eggleston.
Goal 3:
Increase current services, develop new service delivery models and launch innovative approaches to support people with disabilities in the settings of their choice. Grown employment opportunities buy expanding current business, leveraging customer loyalty and introducing new lines of business. Expend reach of services and markets, and offer a spectrum of services that meet the needs of stakeholders and the community. Continue to leverage opportunities for person centered planning, community integration and other best practices for serving people with disabilities.
Goal 4:
Ensure high quality services, programs and businesses. Increase customer engagement ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Create customer loyalty by providing high value to customer and stakeholders. Be the premier provider and employer of choice in the Hampton Roads area.
