What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

The Women's Home program is designed around a therapeutic community model, providing a structured, drug and alcohol free, 24-hour residential facility. The Home is shared by 12 women residents and one resident manager. The women are encouraged to be concerned about each other and to work together to promote emotional growth and behavioral changes toward the goal of overcoming each individual's addictive behavior. The end result of living at the Home is that the women have the foundation of developing a productive alcohol-and drug-free lifestyle. Certified substance abuse counselors provide services on a part-time basis. The residents are required to attend regular Alcoholic Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous meetings during the week. Those 12-step programs are incorporated into each woman's treatment program. The counselors and Board of Directors are supported by a part-time Administrative Coordinator.

The women residents are required to pay for their room and board at the Home. Most of the women work full or part-time jobs. All residents gather every evening to prepare dinner and eat together. They share household chores to maintain the Home and its grounds.
