While parents are their children's first and most important advocate and teacher, many times they are not aware of their rights and responsibilities within the public school system. Added to the challenges of raising children, including those with disabilities, parents need assistance with resources and further information to assist their family.

Building positive Futures for Virginia's children through education and resources

Statewide, national, and local partnerships collaborating to help families

PEATC has held the Parent and Training Information Center grant for Virginia for the past 40 years. We have educated, trained, and passionate staff with a variety of backgrounds and experiences to assist families. PEATC has locations throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia so that families can get assistance via phone, email, in person, or through social media.

PEATC's Board of Directors and staff continually monitor our progress towards meeting and exceeding our goals and objectives.
