Care Net
A Pro Abundant Life Ministry
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
With nearly 1 million abortions taking place each year in the United States, Care Net seeks to offer compassion, hope, and help to anyone considering abortion by presenting them with realistic alternatives and Christ-centered support through a life-affirming network of pregnancy centers, churches, organizations, and individuals. We provide, material, emotional, and spiritual support to women and men facing pregnancy decisions so they can make fully informed choices around their unplanned pregnancies. Our medical pregnancy centers conduct free ultrasounds and other services to help women and men make decisions about their pregnancies. As a Christian ministry, we also share the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ to enable those we serve to not only have life, but to have abundant life and to be connected to their local churches for ongoing support and discipleship.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Pregnancy Center Support
Care Net supports one of the nation's largest networks of affiliated pregnancy centers - over 1,200 centers in North America. We provide affiliates with the training, webinars, and resources to help them be as effective as possible in their work to support their clients. Each year Care Net hosts a National Conference, the nation's largest gathering of pregnancy centers, where participants receive three days of education and inspiration from the nation's leaders in pro-life ministry
Pregnancy Decision Line
The nation's only real-time pregnancy decision hotline; offers information regarding fetal development, abortions procedures, and parenting options to callers considering abortion. Refers callers to local pregnancy centers for ongoing support.
"Making Life Disciples" Church Curriculum
Designed specifically to equip churches to minister to and offer long-term discipleship to those making pregnancy decisions, "Making Life Disciples" is the only curriculum of it's kind.
Public Education
Care Net provides educational material to the general public to help people turn their pro-life passion into pro-life action. We provide ebooks, free online courses, and other materials that are listed at https://resources.care-net.org/free-resources.
