AbilityOne Agency Contracting

Under the AbilityOne Federal Program, PORTCO has custodial and groundskeeping contracts with government properties that are staffed exclusively by employee-clients with disabilities.

PORTCO aims to embrace diversity, erase barriers and bridge individuals with differing abilities to their communities through quality employment and training opportunities while providing exceptional services to our stakeholders. PORTCO also seeks to be the largest employment provider to people with disabilities in the United States.

Providing quality service, practicing great fiscal responsibility, maintaining a great teamwork environment, measuring our outcomes and treating all of our employees and customers with mutual respect.

Expertise of staff in identifying opportunities for program expansion through AbilityOne and other local efforts.

At the present time, PORTCO, Inc employs over 175 persons with disabilties. Though its growth has been remarkable, PORTCO's mission remains unchanged. All efforts and services are designed to accomplish our vision of improving the lives of persons with disabilities. PORTCO seeks to continue increasing the employee base for persons with disabilities.
