VHCF Programs
VHCF's mission is to increase access to primary health care for uninsured and medically underserved Virginians. VHCF awards grants to a variety of program areas: Health Care Safety Net Expansion and Support (via grants to increase capacity for medical, dental, behavioral health and pharmacy services); Access to Prescription Medicines (via The Pharmacy Connection and grants for Medication Assistance Caseworkers); Child Health Insurance Outreach and Enrollment ( via training for application assisters and grants for outreach workers.)
Behavioral Health ( via grants, scholarships, roundtables and other opportunities to encourage the integration of behavioral health services and medical care)
