Grant Program

John Randolph Foundation is committed to building healthy communities and bright futures in the Tri-Cities region of Virginia. We award about $1 million in grants each year to charitable organizations through competitive grants and donor-initiated grants. The core of our grants address the social determinants of health, which are the many factors influencing the health of individuals and communities. Our service area includes: Hopewell, Petersburg, and Colonial Heights (AKA the Tri-Cities); Prince George County and Fort Gregg-Adams; Southern Chesterfield County; Charles City County; Dinwiddie County; and Sussex County.

Through the generosity of our donors, we are proud to offer a number of scholarships for a variety of academic pursuits to local students residing in Hopewell, Prince George, Enon, Chester, Petersburg, Colonial Heights, Dinwiddie, Sussex, Surry, Charles City, and Varina.
