Remembering All of Law Enforcement's Heroes
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
ODMP honors fallen law enforcement officers and brings their stories to the public in order to raise awareness of line of duty deaths and pay tribute to those officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
No Parole for Cop Killers
No Parole for Cop Killers mobilizes the law enforcement community and supporters to urge parole boards throughout the country to deny parole to convicted cop killers.
Line of Duty Death Notifications
ODMP Line of Duty Death Notifications are sent to subscribers world wide, alerting them to the deaths of law enforcement officers in the line of duty.
Fallen Officer Memorials
ODMP publishes memorials for every known fallen law enforcement officer, dating back over 220 years to the first known line of duty death in 1791. Our researchers have discovered nearly 1,000 previously forgotten line of duty deaths spanning this time period.
ODMP K9
ODMP K9 honors the hundreds of police canines that have been killed in the line of duty serving alongside America's law enforcement officers. These loyal companions have given their lives to ensure their handlers, fellow officers, and citizens stay safe.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our goal is to pay tribute to the men and women in law enforcement who give their lives in the line of duty, to support their survivors, and to ensure that offenders who have been found guilty of murdering a law enforcement officer remain behind bars for their full sentence.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
ODMP sends Line of Duty Death notifications and maintains a Memorial and Reflection page for each officer, including K9s, who dies in the line of duty.
We support their survivors in conjunction with Concerns of Police Survivors with a comprehensive, state-by-state benefits database to ensure that the survivors receive assistance and support.
ODMP runs a No Parole program to notify the public via email and social media when a cop killer is eligible for parole so that citizens may write letters requesting that those inmates are kept behind bars.
Additionally, ODMP works with programs and initiatives that aim to reduce line of duty deaths across the nation and provide officers with training and equipment to lower the number of LODDs we see each year.
Finally, ODMP organizes a motorcycle Memorial Ride and the National Police Week 5K each year to raise awareness of the number of law enforcement deaths annually and to honor those who gave their lives in service.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
ODMP maintains an extensive database with each line of duty death in the US stretching back to 1791.
We work with COPS to maintain an up-to-date, state-by-state survivor benefits database.
We have volunteers who track parole eligibility of cop killers for our No Parole program.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We have been successful in raising awareness of the number of line of duty deaths that occur annually, however more could be done to educate the public on the causes of LODDs and how to lower those numbers.
Our No Parole program has seen most of the offenders denied parole, however we could do more to ensure we are aware of all the cases nationally.
