HOPE BUILDERS MINISTRIES

Multiplying Disciples for Christ through Indigenous Disciple Makers

aka HBMin.org   |   Greenwood, VA   |  www.hbmin.org

Mission

Hope Builders Ministries serves indigenous Christian missions in Africa, Asia and America. These ministries primarily focus on disciples-making, pastoral training, church growth, and community development from a Christian biblical perspective. The goal is to provide spiritual, emotional and physical development to the societies they serve. The recipients of their services include men and women, young and old, and the vulnerable without regard to age, sex or religious background. HBM has also developed a disciple-making training program. This program offers Biblical training on the local church level to equip, encourage and empower all of the faith community.

What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

HBMin.org is a resource partner with indigenous ministries in underdeveloped countries to equip, empower and encourage the individual ministries to do the work in their countries and cultures. For instance, Zambians best understand their cultural issues and needs. HBM partners with ministries to provide resources to aid these indigenous ministries to do meet their own needs. It is always a goal to help the indigenous ministry to become self-sustaining.

Bibles for Disciples Africa

One of the most pressing problems we face in fulfilling the Great Commission in the rural parts of Africa is that there is a crippling shortage of Bibles.  It is virtually impossible to lead people to a mature relationship with Jesus Christ as their savior without them having access to the Word of God.

Although impressive results of new believers growing spectacularly in their faith have been recorded we believe that the effectiveness of our work can be enhanced significantly if Disciple Makers and their students have access the Bibles.

We are well on our way to deliver the first 100,000 Bibles to Discipleship classes in the 5 countries we are working in.  You can help make this possible.

Vulnerable widows and orphans are left behind because of the loss of a husband and father and the poverty which ensues. HBM equips and empowers local churches to support their widows and orphans and those in their communities through garden projects and sustainable support projects. The widows are empowered to become the mothers of orphans within the community lifting their dignity and self-worth.

This ministry supports TWO indigenous missionaries who are primarily tasked with training and organizing pastors in Gospel ministry. This Gospel ministry is Bible based teaching to develop mature Christians who are able to share the eternal life giving Gospel with their surrounding communities. The TWO missionaries travel to different locations by invitation of the local churches and encourage them with tools for developing the pastors in the Word of God and equipping the church to become multiplying disciple making centers.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

The Goal of HBMin.org is to share the Good News of Jesus Christ through indigenous partnerships who are saturating their own countries and cultures with the Love of God.

The key strategy is multiplying maturity through the One on Three to the Fourth Generation disciple making concept, building mentoring relationships.

HBMin.org has a team of dedicated missionaries raising support for indigenous ministries and also able to travel to give one on one and group training through seminars and conferences organized in through partnering ministries in their countries. HBM also provides training literature to partnering ministries.

In over 15 years of ministry in Africa and Asia HBM has distributed thousands of 3 year leadership training manuals and over 100,000 bibles to Christians. Many thousands of pastors have completed the 3 year leadership training program and received diploma certificates of completion. In 2021 150 men and women received diplomas for completing the HBM Leadership Program. Over 2000 people received basic training in personal life skills to live well.
