Homeownership Program

Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Indiana is the leading organization providing permanent, affordable
housing to income-qualified families in Lake County Indiana. By serving qualified homeowners with an
affordable mortgage, we help struggling, working families who are earning between 30 to 80% of the
average income level in the region to achieve long-term housing stability and improve their living conditions. HFHNWI leverages our resources with community partners, collaborators, donors, and volunteers to keep our homes affordable. We continue to work toward our mission of building homes, communities and hope through our vision; a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
