Mission

In order to continue spiritual growth, times of intensified study, reflection and sharing are sometimes neeeded. RCS will offer a place of fellowship and a serene environment of "retreat" from the daily turmoil and routine of life. We offer a place to be free from normal resonsibilities to concentrate --with the the help of like-minded people -- on the spiritual resources to guide and sustain life.

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

We have conducted 63 weekend spiritual retreats at rented facilities, attended by more than 1000 people, while we have worked toward the goal of building and operating our own Center. Beginning in early 2008 our 82 acre Center will be open and operating each weekend. There we will present a program consisting of a rotating cycle of presentations and discussions on the twelve steps and related spiritual principles. Opportunities for confidential group and one-on-one sharing will be provided, as well as time for individual study and writing. Recreational opportunities and a library of spirituality and recovery related media will also be offered.
