SORT provides specially trained personnel and equipment to assist in managing both planned (sports events, concerts) or unplanned (natural disasters, lost person searches) occurrences, and offers an integrated multiple-agency response team. SORT provides medical, paramedical, and hazardous material service to city and county governments, universities and various sporting events on a standby basis ($75,590). SORT also provides consulting services regarding compliance with regulations related to hazardous and safety environments ($63,424). One of SORTs recent accomplishments was receiving awards for response to Hurricane Emily and the Los Angeles earthquake by the US Public Health Service.
