Counseling

Witnessing God use brokenness and heartache to move people toward redemption is one of our greatest privileges at The Barnabas Center. Offering individual and couple counseling sessions, our staff provides comprehensive counseling services to adults seeking freedom from their struggles such as abuse and neglect, addictions, anger and rage, anxiety, betrayal, co-dependency, compulsive behavior, depression, divorce, eating disorders, family conflict, grief and loss, marriage (including pre-marital), personality disorders, relationship struggles, sexual addictions, spiritual struggle, and stress management. Through our ongoing fundraising efforts, we are able to supplement our counseling rates and offer scholarships as need dictates. The scholarship scale is determined by each client’s level of expenses and income.

Our counselors and staff facilitate various seminars, conferences and retreats that guide participants toward an authentic relationship with God and more meaningful relationships with people. Through our training ministry, we teach in local churches and host various marriage seminars, spiritual growth and renewal events, parenting seminars and relationship training courses.Through our ongoing fundraising efforts, we are able to supplement our training rates and offer discounts for church and ministry leaders as well as provide scholarships determined by income level.

Bringing your darkest struggles to light through the safety of confidential, counselor-facilitated groups is often an integral step toward healing and redemption. Interacting with others who share similar struggles, stories and experiences offers a safe place to receive support and encouragement, to become more known, and to experience deep healing and restoration. We currently offer group programs to address eating disorders, sexual addiction, and various forms of abuse.
