Mission

The Animal Protection Society of the Northern Piedmont, Inc. d/b/a Animal Protection Society of Caswell County (“APS"), is dedicated to preventing cruelty to animals from abuse or neglect, providing a shelter for lost and abandoned animals, reuniting lost pets with their owners, providing low-cost spay/neuter services to the public, encouraging pet adoption, networking with breed-specific rescue groups to facilitate adoption, providing a humane means of euthanasia for animals who cannot be adopted or who suffer severe injury or illness, encouraging responsible pet ownership and public education, and preventing the spread of rabies which is a major public health issue. We are a 501(c)(3) organization.
