BERKELEY MODEL UNITED NATIONS CONFERENCE IS HELD EACH MARCH TO INVITE HIGH SHCOOL STUDENTS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD TO ATTEND. WE TEACH THEM VARIOUS INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS TOPICS AS WELL AS UNITED NATIONS PROCEDURE. WE EMPHASIZE THE IMPORANCE OF DIPLOMACY AND THOROUGH RESEARCH TO MAKE THE STUDENTS BETTER DELEGATES AND TO GARNER DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF WORLD EVENTS.

THE BERKELEY MODEL ARAB LEAGUEIS AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN NOVEMBER TO INVITE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS FROM THE BAY AREA AND HAVE THEM SIMULATE BEING DELEGATES TO THE ARAB LEAGUE. WE TEACH THEM ABOUT EVENTS HAPPENING IN THE MIDDLE EAST AS WELL AS THE IMPORTANCE OF DIPLOMACY AND PROBLEM SOLVING.
