Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
In continuous operation since 1976, Mental Health America-Beaufort/Jasper has analyzed the ever changing demographics of our service area and realize that the program needs to extend its geographic presence. Plans are being developed to open two additional locations within the next 6 months to beter meet the mental health needs of those we intend to serve.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
As a result of an extensive study of the the demographics of our service area, we plan to open two new programs that have been identified as underserved in terms of mental health needs. T.his will include the recruitment of two additional counselors who are bi=lingual and capable of working with a growing hispanic population.
One new location has already been identified and is under agreement for use as a new facility to locate a new program and potential sites in a different area are being evaluated. Active recruitment is underway for two new bi-lingual counselors.
