What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

It is estimated that 50,000 people are baptized DAILY into the Christian faith. To bring these people along in their faith would require at least 1,000 pastors to answer the call to ministry. God is calling the pastors, but they lack the resources and ability to attend seminary for training and education in their calling. LMW publishes The Preacher's Outline & Sermon Bible® - a 44-volume outline Bible with commentary that synthesizes the wisdom and theology from across the ages in an easy-to-follow format that uses simple language to explain and elucidate scripture. The series is sold in print, digitally, as an app, and through Bible software in the USA. Sales and donations allow LMW to deliver 3 books free to under-resourced pastors for every book that is purchased. In 2017, more than 280,000 free volumes were distributed to pastors in more than 175 countries.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Leadership Ministries Worldwide (LMW) is dedicated to equipping leaders for gospel-centered ministry worldwide. To that end, LMW publishes The Preacher's Outline & Sermon Bible® – a complete outline and commentary of every verse of scripture in a 44-volume series. Our mission is to equip pastors all over the world with this valuable, easy-to-comprehend biblical resource that is designed to help them with their preaching, teaching, and biblical understanding.

It is estimated that as many as 95% of pastors who are called to preach have little or no biblical training. By equipping these leaders with gospel-centered resources, they are able to understand and share God's Word, changing hearts and transforming communities. As healthy leaders pastor healthy churches, healthy communities spring up around them, with schools, hospitals, and churches dedicated to serving God and His people.

LMW recognizes that to reach the greatest numbers of people, The Preacher's Outline & Sermon Bible® needs to be translated into the primary languages used throughout the world. Portions of the series have been translated into 20 languages, and are being used in 175 countries around the world. More than 1.5 million pastors have received free copies of these resources.

1. The LMW app – an online library of resources for pastors and trainers. In 2018, LMW launched this digital library that offers The Preacher's Outline & Sermon Bible®, theological curriculum, and a sermon preparation platform to pastors, trainers, and seminaries throughout Asia and the Global South.

2. Partnerships with like-minded ministries: LMW has developed partnerships with ministries that serve pastors and trainers all over the world. Through these partnerships, LMW is able to reach ever-increasing numbers of global Christian leaders.
a. Theological Book Network and OM Ships delivered thousands of LMW's printed books to pastors and seminaries throughout Africa and Asia.
b. The Grace Institute delivered 1,000 Spanish volumes of The Preacher's Outline & Sermon Bible® to pastors and learning centers in Colombia.
c. WeDevote, a Chinese Bible app, makes the Chinese language Preacher's Outline & Sermon Bible® available for free to pastors and Bible students throughout China. Over 11,000 volumes were downloaded in the first 2 months on the app.
d. Third Millennium Ministries provides free theological curriculum for Lystra Global.
e. Prison Fellowship distributes LMW resources to prison ministries in the USA.
f. Frontline Fellowship and Timosoara Bible Institute in Romania translate volumes into the Romanian language, and arrange for printing and distribution to pastors throughout that country.
g. Pakistan Christian Leadership Ministries translates, prints, and delivers resources throughout Pakistan.
h. We continue to develop partnerships with Christian ministries, expanding God's Kingdom.
i. We having a ministry partnership with the Bivocational and Small Church Leaders Network.

3. Sales –More than 2 million volumes of The Preacher's Outline & Sermon Bible® have been sold to pastors in the US and other Western countries. Funds from sales contribute to the writing, printing and publication of the books, and any excess helps us distribute volumes to equip pastors in other parts of the world.

1. History - LMW has a long history of success in reaching the world with God's Word. LMW formed as a 501(c)3 in 1992. Our 25 years of experience in the Christian publishing field has established The Preacher's Outline & Sermon Bible® as a leader in Bible Commentaries. With over 2 million volumes sold and hundreds of thousands more distributed for free, the resource can now be found in 175 countries, and portions of the work have been translated into 20 languages. Bible software platforms have ranked The Preacher's Outline & Sermon Bible® as their top-selling commentary series.
2. Creativity - In response to an outcry from pastoral trainers to have resources that they can give to pastors after a training is complete, LMW developed Lystra Global, a free online library for pastors and trainers. Since its launch in 2016, hundreds of pastoral trainers in more than 50 countries have registered to access and use the system. Other ministries have partnered with LMW to provide translations and access to global pastors. Lystra Global is the first digital resource that offers a library of books and training, along with systems that allow trainers to track usage and impact.
3. Partnering to expand God's Kingdom - In the past few years, LMW has cemented partnerships with like-minded ministries serving pastors all over the world. These partnerships focus on expanding the gospel globally by combining talents and resources to God's glory.
4. Access to New Technology and Delivery Systems – Moving forward, LMW will be looking at new systems for delivering resources. E-books, audio files, and print-on-demand systems make it easier to put quality resources in the hands of hungry pastors. LMW is moving forward to use updated technologies and systems to reach ever-greater numbers of pastors.
5. Nurturing relationships with donors who are committed to equipping leaders for gospel-centered ministries worldwide.

1. The 44-volume Preacher's Outline & Sermon Bible® is complete and in high demand both in the US and abroad – but revisions and updates are necessary.
2. Portions of the series have been translated into 20 languages – LMW is seeking to complete the Spanish and Chinese translations in the next year.
3. Pastors all over the world know about The Preacher's Outline & Sermon Bible® and appreciate it as a rich resource. We have reached 175 countries, but we constantly receive requests for more books.
