What we aim to solve
The planet desperately needs everyone to unite to mitigate the potential disaster of climate change and the environmental, social, and human challenges which must be met to move forward in a healthy, holistic manner. The Pacific Film Foundation (PFF), founded in 2004 to spotlight scientific breakthroughs, social justice, and civil rights has evolved into a growing nonprofit production company with a firm strategic direction for the decade 2021-2030. The United Nations has stated the problem(s) succinctly and directly via its "Sustainable Development Goals by 2030."

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Pacific Film Foundation has created a documentary film/tv series hub with dedicated "Channels,” generating global audience engagement to achieve United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Channels stream in content categories where PFF has demonstrated expertise:
#3 Good Health – Focus on Gene Therapies
#4 Quality Education – Focus on Educating Global Brands in Marketing Sustainability
#5 Gender Equality – Focus on the Series, Female & Finally Free
#13 Climate Action – Focus on the Series, The Planet Game

Our focus is to empower more individuals and organizations to develop, produce, and distribute films, television shows and series, podcasts, and blogs focused on key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Each Channel hosts content produced by our organization and those with whom we collaborate.
Our upgraded Website is supported by a Google Adwords Grant managed by the digital advertising agency, NonProfit Megaphone to invest $10,000 per month in click-throughs to the Website https://pacificfilmfoundation.org

What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
The Pacific Film Foundation is a nonprofit production company that began with "A Delicate Balance," a short documentary film shot at the City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center in Duarte, CA and released in 2005.
A Current Review of "A Delicate Balance"
"In 2004, I was approached by 3-time Oscar-winning director, Mark Jonathan Harris to be part of a documentary about a new immune-based therapy for glioblastoma that I was working on with Dr. Michael Jensen at the City of Hope. As oncologists and immunologists, we were seeking a way to genetically modify human T-cells outside the body to fight brain cancer in adults and children. The film, A Delicate Balance by the Pacific Film Foundation holds up very well to this day in 2021, as it's clear that gene therapy has come a long way to treating not only cancer, but also infections. The two new RNA-based vaccines for the ongoing pandemic (Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna) are a type of gene therapy that work inside the body to activate the immune system to fight COVID-19."
Laurence Cooper, M.D., Ph.D.

Review of "Pershing's Paths of Glory:"
“At a time when we're all searching for inspirational leaders, it is instructive to examine the qualities of former American heroes. Pershing's admirable traits are on display in this fine documentary. It's moving to see how the young people in this film are trying to learn from his legacy." Mark Jonathan Harris, 3-Time Oscar Winner.
