What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Adolescent Parenting Program

Serves teen parents who are pregnant or parenting for the first time, and their babies. Parent educators are trained to deliver the Parents as Teachers program curriculum, which is a research-based home visiting and family support program. The primary goals of the program are that teen parents stay in school and postpone a second pregnancy until adulthood. Teens receive two home visits each month where educators focus on goal setting and achievement, helping teens gain knowledge about child development, and learn positive parenting skills. A monthly group session is provided for teen parents to gather and learn together to where they can develop healthy and supportive social connections. Each child receives annual child development assessments and families benefit from case management to connect them to needed resources.
