What we aim to solve
Our biggest concern is housing first. We feel this is a problem. Our goal is housing next. We want to provide clients with the educational and job needs so they can afford their home when they receive it.

Victory Program
The Victory Program is a twelve-month holistic recovery program designed to help people recover from a lifestyle of addictions and return to the workforce investing back into the community. The goal is to help men and women break the cycle of addiction through biblical principles and reconcile them with God and their families.

Provides training on resume building
Temps to the Rescue
Provides temporary employment to Mission clients
Edge - Empowering... Developing... Growing... Educating...
This program takes those who have not completed their HS diploma or GED and prepares them for GED testing. The program was started in 3rd quarter 2015.

Our goal is to provide shelter, food, education, counsel, and jobs to needy persons in the Triangle area of North Carolina.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We believe that the teachings of the Word of God will give each person the needed tools to be a productive member of society and allow them to be a provider to their family.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
The Durham Rescue Mission has certified National Association of Nouthetic Counselors on staff. These counselors are certified to encourage men and women to live a Godly life and the fruits of doing so.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Our numbers have increased by over 50% since 2010 in the number of individuals who seek help here at the Rescue Mission. We continue to grow our facilities and programs to meet the needs of the homeless and addicted in our area.
