Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
The goal of Leadership Ministries is to equip men to be faithful leaders in their marriages, families, businesses, churches, and communities and to teach them to equip others to be the same. Our vision is to see men all over the United States of America and the world rising proactively in exponentially growing numbers to the challenge of Biblical leadership.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
At the heart of Leadership Ministries is the Friday Morning Men’s Fellowship. Hundreds of men gather together in public venues to hear informative and encouraging talks on some of the most challenging issues facing them. A leader-led discussion time, around a table, challenges men to apply the truth to their lives and to become better leaders. In addition, Leadership Ministries offers a professional mentoring program, assistance to men in transition through The Mark Christopher Fund, and Life and Career Counseling.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Leadership Ministries has a well-trained professional team comprised of volunteer and paid staff members. Ongoing training events include Location Leader Training, Table Leader Training and Speaker Development.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
For 36 years Leadership Ministries and Friday Morning Men’s Fellowship has had a remarkable record of developing men to lead and has enjoyed steady growth. Chris White, the Founder of the ministry, began the first fellowship with just four men in 1982. By 1986, those four men had become 100 and Leadership Ministries was incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Today, hundreds of men are involved in Friday Morning Men’s Fellowships at five locations in the southeast US. Leadership Ministries has launched, in 2019, a Capacity Growth Campaign with the goal of doubling our number of current fellowships and doubling the number of men we can equip and develop into effective leaders in their marriages, families, workplaces and communities..
