Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Friends of the Blue Ridge Parkway main goal is to support the Blue Ridge Region, along the Blue Ridge Parkway in an effort to maintain, preserve and protect the region. Our organization also wants to preserve the Blue Ridge Region for future generations so they are able to enjoy the vistas, history, and culture from this region.

Friends of the Blue Ridge Parkway works toward the goal of preserving and enhancing the Blue Ridge Region along the Blue Ridge Parkway by working with our network of volunteer chapters throughout Virginia and North Carolina. Each chapter takes on a unique role for the area they represent in the region. Many of the chapters participate in Youth Outdoor activities to make sure the region is cared for by future generations.

Friends volunteer's are the backbone of this organization. Without their passion and dedication to the Blue Ridge Region, our organization would not exist. By organizing their strengths and talents into chapters of dedicate volunteers, Friends is able to meet the needs posed by each area in Virginia and North Carolina.
