What we aim to solve
The CEC/Seabee Historical Foundation Proudly Preserves, Promotes & Perpetuates the rich heritage of the U.S. Navy Seabees and the Civil Engineer Corps. We are working to help keep the Seabee & Civil Engineer Corps Heritage alive by supporting the US Navy Seabee Museum and other Seabee Historic Sites.

What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
The CEC/Seabee Historical Foundation uses our National Database Program, Events, Fundraisers, Newsletters & Social Media outlets to keep former & current Seabees, CEC Officers & supporters up to date & involved.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Our Database allows for our members to find others they may have served with as well as provides Reunion & NSVA Island lists for events.
The events held by the CEC/Seabee Historical Foundation are open to all and promote fun & camaraderie for all those who attend.
The Seabee Quaterly & Bee News keeps our members and donors up to date on all things Seabee.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We had our first Annual Membership Drive this past year and it was considered a success (we had a larger than normal monthly increase in membership). Or next membership drive, we will better identify candidates for membership.
We conducted two organized memorial brick sales which was a huge success, we will continue with these two but, with increased advertisement via social media and email blast.
We developed a job board for transitioning Seabee and Seabee veterans looking for employment. Utilizing Board Members’ networks to solicit their companies to post job openings. Since inception and until the foreseeable future the site is free for all. Once the site has demonstrated success for both parties we look to monetize the use for companies with the proceeds being used to further our mission.
We gifted the U. S. Navy, the new Seabee Museum that the foundation had constructed. This year we gifted the United States Navy Seabee Museum exhibit designs and associated intellectual property. In the future we strive to purchase exhibits for the museum.
Two of our biggest solicitation for donations is the Seabee Birthday and Year End Giving. We solicit the donations via mail with reminders on social media. This coming year during these drives we are adding additional means of paying the donation these include donate on Facebook, and directly on our other social media sites and text to give.
We support the STEM program camp held annually, indirectly by providing money for support services (meals). In the future we plan to be a supporting sponsor of the camp.
