Home Plate Project

The Home Plate Project started as a response to Covid where we re-purposed all of the food purchased for the baseball season into 100,000 hot meals served in community in April 2020. Building on that investment, we were able to support the Cobb Community Food Fleet of 91 different organizations working together for food-security by leveraging Truist Park as a cold food storage and distribution center through the end of 2020 and ahead of the 2021 baseball season. We continue the Home Plate Project efforts in partnership with Chick Fil A through a monthly food distribution in our most vulnerable communities across the Greater Atlanta Area.
