Mission

The Humane Society of Greater Miami is a private, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable animal welfare organization dedicated to placing every dog and cat in our care into a loving home, and to promoting responsible pet ownership and spay/neuter programs. We live by our limited admit, adoption guarantee philosophy which means that all the animals cared for at our Soffer and Fine Adoption Center and through our Foster Care program are safe from the threat of euthanasia due to time, space, or treatable medical issues, for as long as it takes to find them a permanent home to call their own.
