What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Preschool
Preschool Program for students entering P3 and P4. Students must be 3 by September 1st or 4 by September 1st. These classes are full day (half-day option for P3) and include a full, educational experience, following the STREAM (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, Math) Curriculum.
STREAM Curriculum Program
STREAM is an interdisciplinary, standards-based curriculum model that integrates Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, The Arts, and Mathematics. From Pre-K through 8th Grade, the teachers at St. Martha Catholic School design units of study that challenge and empower students, creating an environment that encourages problem-solving, collaboration, student-led inquiry and hands-on projects. A science lab, vegetable garden, prayer garden, open fields, and the Zazarino Center serve as dynamic learning spaces. Our Catholic faith is woven through all subjects and grade levels, promoting a culture of innovation and ethical action. STREAM educates students for their future, makes learning relevant, and emphasizes interdisciplinary connections.
After School Program
For the benefit of our St. Martha Catholic School families, a child care program is provided for our students until 5:30 PM, on most school days. Only students enrolled in St. Martha Catholic School or St. Mary Academy (shared campus) are allowed to enroll in the After School Program. The After School Program strives to provide an enjoyable atmosphere with varying activities, including outdoor play, homework time, and indoor games. The students are served a snack each day.
Chromebooks
St. Martha Catholic School is a leader in the integration of technology. Our classrooms are equipped with mobile ViewSonic panels and all students have a Chromebook to utilize 1:1 technology. In addition to Chromebooks, students also have access to a mobile lab of iPads. Classes in 2nd Grade through 8th Grade integrate digital, collaborative workspaces through the use of Google Classroom and other platforms. Students have access to the STREAM Lab, which includes Ozobots, Dot & Dash Robots, CUE Robots, Virtual Reality, 3-D Computer Printing, Codapillar, Tiggly, Ozmo, SmartGurlz, and many other tools to learn coding and apply their learning through digital design.
