Adult Literacy Program

We offer tutoring and classes to help adults learn to read, write, and speak English. These programs can be in-person or virtual and program support for many levels of learners.

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

We aim to recruit 20-30 new volunteer tutors each year. Since many volunteers come to us, are trained, and tutor for a period of our, we eventually lose a good percentage of them.

Constant recruitment campaigns continue at local libraries and other community based events.

Some of our volunteer tutors set up recruitment tables on a monthly basis at local library branches. Community awareness is keep to our recruitment efforts.

When we don't have a sufficient number of volunteer tutors for our one-on-one tutoring efforts, we establish Conversation Classes where learners without tutor can gather together in a classroom environment, lead by a tutor, and practice aspects of their language skills.
