What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

There's currently a missing opportunity for children to establish strong character, learn life skills, and develop physically and emotionally. Schools and other educational resources focus on traditional STEM-based training, but our program seeks to expand that learning to grow necessary character and community insight in our youth.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our goal is to encourage youth in our community to use rowing to develop leading-edge athleticism, curate unwavering sportsmanship, display best-of-breed leadership and exhibit unflinching commitment; all while maintaining a laser focus on academic success.

We achieve these goals through structured programs and competitions that encourage commitment to both personal and team goals. Each member contributes to the success of themselves, their boat and their team. With successes, and failures, attention is paid to how the individual can contribute most effectively. This leads to self-awareness AND community-awareness.

We have created structured programs to develop youth over time. We also employ staff that are trained in youth development, rowing excellence and physical training. The staff drive individuals to excel beyond their preconceived boundaries to grow into the strong and motivated individual they are meant to be.

We continue to garner scholarships for our rowers and they are selected to continue into programs on the national and international level.
