What we aim to solve
To foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts. To serve our veterans, the military and our communities. To advocate on behalf of all veterans. Ensure that veterans are respected for their service, always receive their earned entitlements and are recognized for the sacrifices they and their loved ones have made on behalf of this great country.

Community Service
Reaching out into our community is vital to our organization, developing relationships with community leaders, media, school faculty and local civic groups greatly assists our post in achieving the VFW mission.
Veteran Outreach
Supporting veterans in need in the local community through economic assistance, assistance with filing with the Department of Veterans Affairs, and other assistance as needed.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
• Develop an organization and community to support veterans in Hillsborough County.
• Create a place where veterans and family members can can gather to foster camaraderie.
• Assist veterans in Hillsborough County access earned entitlements and benefit programs.
• Support veterans and families of veterans in need through financial support.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
1) Create a Post Home facility that provides the capacity and atmosphere to host members and events.
2) Recruit and develop members in order to provide the human and financial capital needed to accomplish our goals.
3) Increase outreach to veterans and the community to accomplish our goals and promote our core values.

What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
• Our membership at the end of 2018 numbered 354 members.
• Our organization has secured a facility and is within four years of completely paying off the mortgage which will increase our financial stability and allow increased expenditures in other programs and efforts.
• Our organization provides a number of recurring grants to military organizations and veterans in need.
