Mission

WEGO (Worldwide Evangelical Gospel Outreach) is a global family of local churches and local believers serving Jesus together in unreached and under-resourced communities. We exist to share Jesus and show His love to those who have never heard His name. We labor everyday to see the Great Commission fulfilled and every hardship lifted through the sacrificial service of the local church and faithful followers of Jesus around the world. We are intentionally interdenominational, completely God-dependent, and long to be to others who Jesus has first been to us.

New Hope

In Jinotepe, Nicaragua, we run a Christian School for 75 students between 7th-11th grade. Each student is provided lunch and a free education that includes English and Bible classes. We also have partnered with ORPHANetwork to serve lunch 5 days a week to 250 toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary age children in the Roman Esteban community. Food is made each day at the community center by volunteer moms before it is transported to the children. We have a weekly gathering for first graders to learn about Jesus through music, bible stories, and through activities that promote healthy habits and spiritual growth. We have nutrition, birthing classes, infant care, and fellowship for new moms in our community. New Hope Mongolia is our children’s home that was opened in 2005. We provide a loving home for children who have either been orphaned, abandoned, or whose families are not able to adequately care for them. New Hope gives them an opportunity to be loved and provided for as they learn about the great love God has for them. Through the home we also are able to employ 8 local staff members: our ministry director, home director, 3 caregivers, a driver, a cook, and a farm worker. We ministers in Ukraine through Sergei, our local missionary. He serves several local churches through teaching, consulting, training, evangelism, and a variety of other areas. He is greatly involved in mentoring both orphaned children and the youth in his church through camps, trips, and bible studies. WEGO has also been involved in serving Ukraine through a feeding program to the poor and homeless as well as discipleship training among people with little to no access to the study of Scripture.
