Mission

The FLORIDA MUSEUM of PHOTOGRAPHIC ARTS is a museum dedicated to exhibiting important photographic art as central to contemporary life and culture. FMoPA collects, preserves, and exhibits historic and contemporary works by nationally and internationally known photographic artists. FMoPA also enriches the community by operating outreach programs to educate children and adults.

Exhibition Programs

The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts collects and exhibits fine art photography, and is nationally and internationally recognized for its carefully curated exhibitions. These exhibitions include both historical and contemporary photography, and highlight local Tampa Bay and international photographers, contributing to the cultural landscape of the Tampa Bay Area, and advancing the museum's role as an arts education center.
