What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Amelia Island Chamber Music Festival (AICMF)

The AICMF presents 10 to 12 ticketed concerts and 2 free concerts from January through April. Three headliner concerts are presented each year and in 2020 include Anne-Sophie Mutter, Itzhak Perlman and Ricky Skaggs. The acclaimed Dover Quartet, the Festival's Quartet-In-Residence, performs 2 concerts and a free Master Class during this period.

In late May or early June, the Festival's Spring Institute is held. Young and aspiring artists in the Beth Newdome Fellowship Artists program are mentored by professional artists such as members of the Dover Quartet. The young artists perform at least 2 free concerts at a senior citizen residential facility and a ticketed concert to provide a "concert house" experience for them.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

To continue to become one of the best regional chamber music festivals in the Southeast.

We have engaged such superstars as Yo-Yo Ma, Anne-Sophie Mutter, Wynton Marsalis, Itzhak Perlman, Joshua Bell, Emanuel Ax, Chick Corea, Ricky Skaggs, Yefim Bronfman, and have engaged Renée Fleming and Midori for 2021. The credibility of and attendance at the Festival has grown significantly due to this policy of engaging superstars. Ticket sales as a percentage of total revenue in the last full Festival year in 2019 was an extraordinary 51% and we were on our way to a repeat of that until hit by the Covid 19 pandemic in 2020.

Good leadership at all levels- Board, General and Artistic Director, Executive Director. We have many loyal volunteers and a loyal local audience.
