Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Community Economic Development
Building on local assets, assisting small businesses, neighborhood improvement efforts, and strengthening community pride is the purpose of the Community Economic Development program.
Programs include: Building Personal Assets Training (teaching parenting, employer and employee skills); Neighborhood Enrichment Program that includes safety, lifestyle and involvement and Health Clinics to assist community members in understanding the value of healthy lifestyles.
Neighborhood Network
The mission of the Neighborhood Network program is to train, place and support youth serving agencies in targeted Tucson neighborhoods.
A goal of the program is to implement at least one of the following programs: Creative Expression Training, Drug Education and Violence Prevention Training, Educational Assistance , Health Awareness and Activity Training, Job Readiness Training and Mentoring.
Leadership Training Institute
The mission of the LTI program is to empower non-profit and community leaders with current and relevant information about the Tucson and Pima County communities and empowerment skills so they may provide leadership, quality management and effective programming to youth, families and neighborhoods.
Instruction is given in Organizational Development, Program Development, Revenue Development, Marketing and Community Engagement .
Learning Incentives for Teens (L.I.F.T.)
A scholarship/stipend program for high school students. This program is for students who are living with friends and relatives since it is not possible to live with birth parents.
