Our programs

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic

We offer low cost spay/neuters to people in the community that cannot afford it otherwise and to other rescues groups that rely on low cost services to continue in their rescue efforts.

Population(s) Served
Economically disadvantaged people

This is an amazing program where dogs up for adoption are paired with qualified inmates from Kentucky State Reformatory and trained in basic commands under the guidance of a professional dog trainer and strict supervision of the KSR staff. The dogs have a very successful adoption success rate and the effect on the inmates of caring and training the dogs is profound.

Population(s) Served
Incarcerated people

We trap spay or neuter community cats and then feed & monitor their health and provide veterinary care when needed so that they may live out their lives happy and pain free while the colony naturally ends.

Population(s) Served
Adults
