Mission

The MNC is a broad-based coalition of public and private organizations and individuals networking to assess and meet the wide range of needs of our diverse immigrant and refugee communities in Lexington and the state of Kentucky. MNC is committed to improving education , integration and access to services for immigrants and refugees by providing community education, raising awareness of barriers to equal community participation, and sharing information among service providers and with the community at-large through a network of individuals and organizations.

Achieving Dreams Scholarship Program

The MNC gives out funds annually to college students who meet the criteria set for academics, community involvement and financial need.  These students are recognized in the annual Achieving Dreams Scholarship Event.

Population(s) Served

Monthly presentations by experts in the fields of health, education, housing, economics, community development, immigration and immigrant related topics including Human Trafficking and Human Rights.

MNC's Emergency Preparedness & Communication program works to prepare for natural disasters and pandemic emergencies and to assit non English speaking residents to respond more effectively by creating interpreter and volunteer communication and information dissemination and creating guidelines and appropriate safety protocol.
